About customising your homepage
2009 sees the launch of a new homepage for www.whatisyouraudit.com/mission. From a conceptual point of view, the widgetisation adopted by Facebook and iGoogle weighed strongly on our initial thinking. We wanted to build on an already successful website but introduce the ability for you to customise your own homepage, highlight the content that you are most interested in and design your own user experience.
To customise the page click the 'Customise your homepage' link. Here you will be able to select or deselect the features that you want to see, choose a page colour and click save to confirm. If you want to change the layout then simply click and drag the title bar to move a topic and click the arrow to open or close a topic.
Download our gadget
Our gadget will keep you up to date with the Audit Commission's graduate programme. It can be added to your own website, blog, social network homepage (Facebook, MySpace) or personalised start page (iGoogle or Yahoo!). It brings some of the important, interesting and irreverent features of the ‘What’s Your Mission’ website to your chosen homepage, including new blog entries, up-coming careers fairs, workshops and deadlines for applications.
To add the gadget simply click on the image to your right, this will open up a new browser window where you can click on the logo of the platform you would like to add the widget to. Then follow the on-screen instructions to add it to your chosen page. We hope you find it useful.
